The summer vocation ends and all students should head back to school. Possibly parents start again to complain that phones or pads take most of their children’ learning time. But the fact is that these mobile devices also can help them study. Now there are many useful mobile school apps for smartphones and pads, and these apps have become the necessary school supplies.

Wikipedia Mobile
As we all know, Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia containing more than 20 million articles in 280 languages, and is the most comprehensive and widely used reference work humans have ever compiled. Now many students like to use Wikipedia data as article and research sources. Maybe some parents will worry because Wikipedia’s database of information is in large part curated by amateurs rather than historians. However, Most of the information published in Wikipedia is community-vetted, which is more trustworthy than Google search results. This app can save article to read later or offline, search articles nearby, share articles, read article in a different language, and even full text search and more! So this official Wikipedia mobile should be the first school app for students’ phones and tablets!

  1. Nice list, Gary! Many would agree with me when I say that the woes of students revolve around long hours of research and, which takes a toll on their eagerness to learn. With these apps available, students have all the information they need right on their fingertips, making studying a fun experience for them.
