After winning a $1-billion patent infringement case, Apple Inc. takes aim at Samsung's new bestselling products, by adding Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 into the list of devices banned from the US market.
Even though wined the award about 1.5 percent of Samsung's annual revenue and failure in Japan, Apple seems to show on signs of stopping the patent war and starts the second round to keep Samsung out of business.
Last week, Apple had submitted lawsuit to ask banning eight Samsung devices selling in USA. The products on the list are: Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT&T, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge and Galaxy Prevail. Unluckily, Apple adds its best-selling Galaxy S III into this list ongoing patent lawsuit.
What we can do is waiting for the result? What does it mean if Apple won again? Are there any effects for consumers and Android system?
Whatever kind of results will happen, it is time for Samsung to abandon its old designing and create brand-new user experience from its Galaxy line appearance to how we feel when running the apps and systems. At the same time, for a long time it also will be a bad news for Google’s Android, some design and apps of which are so similar to those from Apple.in this sense, it will be a chance for Windows Phone to rise up faster. By that day, we consumers will get benefit from this long-term patent war and own more choices!
